What is Women in Agriculture and Business?

WAB is a 107 year old organisation, making it the oldest rural women’s group in Australia. It has a dynamic state-wide branch network across South Australia.  It is an organisation for women interested in rural, agricultural and business issues and offers a communication and education hub, leadership opportunities and skills, and friendship.  Click here for more information about WAB.

2024 WAB State Conference – ‘Life is for Living’

The 2024 State Conference was hosted by the Charlton Branch in Port Lincoln on 8 and 9 August 2024. The theme of the conference was ‘Life is for Living’. The first day was a range of guest speakers followed by the Annual General Meeting. The second day was a bus tour to Cummins visiting four sites.

19th Triennial ACWW South Pacific Area Conference

The Associated Country Women of the World (ACWW) South Pacific Area Conference is being hosted by CWA of NSW in Griffith from 8 to 12 September 2024. All members and friends are invited to attend for a week celebrating Rural Women in Action and the International work throughout the South Pacific Area.

The Registration Fee of $360 includes Welcome and Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, full conference program including guest speakers, conference bag, morning/afternoon teas and light lunches during conference as well as a Welcome Gala Dinner ticket. Regional tours are offered on Wednesday afternoon 11 September and a partners all-day tour is available on Tuesday 10 September.
